    1. SHIPPING

    GIMHWAK group has been involved in shipping and ship chartering for more than 20 years. They provide ocean freighting, project cargo management and transhipment to and from all major ports within Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Their ship capacities of 2,000 – 3,000 DWT and tugboats and barges capacities of 2,000 - 8,000 DWT are available for Bare-Boat, time or voyage charter, while joint-slot shipments are also frequently arranged. 


    They transport coal, nickel, scrap iron, acacia log, silica sand, clay, spun piles, machinery, containers, sand, stone aggregate, general cargo and more.

    1. SHIPBUILDING


    The company has more than 20 years of experience in constructing vessels such as fishing boats, tugboats, barges, cargo ships and landing crafts with International classification and plying unlimited International voyage. With the improvement in technology and know-how, they are well equipped with modern facilities, machinery and capabilities in building to ensure delivery of high quality and reliable vessels to customers.

    1. SHIP REPAIRS


    They have two shipyards located at Sungai Bidut and Sungai Sadit in Sibu, Sarawak, which can cater for floating ship repairs and dry-docking. Their facilities can dock a 15,000-tonne vessel, including tugboat, barge, oil tanker, landing craft, ferry, fishing boat and Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS). GIMHWAK offers hull repair, cutting, welding, installation, modification, fabrication, rebuild, dismantle and disposal of all kinds of ships. 

    Gimhwak provides ocean freight forwarding, sea transportation and transhipment from all major ports within Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
