Emerging from modest beginnings in Malaysia’s northeastern coastal state of Kelantan, Ain Medicare’s journey has been one of steady growth from 1994 onward. By choosing the right strategic priorities – quality assurance, staff development, corporate citizenship and a global focus – the company has matured into an industry leader with four major manufacturing operations in the city of Kota Bharu and a sizable production plant and warehouse in nearby Kulim, Kedah.
The flagship physical plant in Kota Bharu, a multi-million-dollar pharmaceutical complex, was opened in 1997 and is fully equipped with advanced manufacturing facilities, chemical and microbiological laboratories, warehouses and an administrative centre.
